Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 30, 2026.

This Privacy Policy explains what information Las Vegas Passport (“LVP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects across lasvegaspassport.net and our driver-tablet and printed referral network (together, the “Site”), why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It’s incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service, which describe who can use the Site and under what conditions.

Browsing & referral data

Just browsing the Site doesn’t require an account. When you click an outbound link to a venue or booking partner, we log the click along with a hashed (not raw) version of your IP address, your browser/ device type (mobile, tablet, or desktop), and an automated bot/crawler check — never the IP address itself. If you arrived via a driver’s QR code or a referral link, we record which referral code sent you so that driver or affiliate can be credited if you go on to book or claim an offer.

Cookies & similar technologies

We use a first-party cookie (lvp_ref) to remember which referral sent you, for up to 30 days on a last-touch basis — if you click a second driver’s link, it replaces the first. A separate session cookie (lvp_sid) keeps your browsing session working normally. These cookies don’t identify you by name; they hold a referral code and a timestamp. You can clear your browser’s cookies at any time to reset or remove this attribution — see “Your choices” below. When you confirm you’re 21 or older on an age-restricted page, we set a cookie (lvp_age21) for 30 days so we don’t ask again; it stores only that you confirmed, not your age or identity.

Favorites

The “Favorites” feature saves the listings you tap directly in your own browser’s local storage. It doesn’t touch our servers, doesn’t require an account, and isn’t synced across devices or browsers — clearing your browser data removes it. We never see what you’ve favorited.

Contact forms & messages

If you submit our general contact form or use a listing’s “Send a message” option, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if you provide one), and message content, and use it to route your message to the right recipient (our team, or — for a listing inquiry — the business itself) and to reply to you. These submissions are rate-limited and screened with a hidden spam-trap field to cut down on abuse; a message you send this way is a transactional communication, not a marketing opt-in, and channel-specific consent (email, SMS, or WhatsApp) is recorded separately for any follow-up messaging tied to it.

Guest offers & club-pass claims

Claiming a guest offer or club-pass through a driver’s referral link collects your name, and an email and/or phone number so the offer can be honored and so you can be reached about it. You separately choose whether to opt in to SMS, email, and/or WhatsApp updates about that claim — leaving all three unchecked is fine. The claim is linked to the referring driver’s or affiliate’s code so they’re credited, and the form is protected by the same spam-trap and rate-limiting measures described above.

“Vegas Ride VIP” free-ride requests

Our free-ride lead-capture campaign collects your name, phone number, pickup address, and trip details you provide (venue type, requested date/time, party size, special requests). A real person follows up to arrange the ride — it isn’t an automated booking system. If you arrived via a driver’s link, the request is credited to that driver the same way a booking would be.

Email subscribers

If you separately opt in to receive email updates, we store your email address, the time you consented, and your subscribed/ unsubscribed status. We only send marketing email to people who’ve opted in for that specific purpose, and every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe.

Business accounts

Creating a business portal account requires an email and password (handled by our authentication provider, Supabase). Your business profile (business name, contact email/phone, and any notes) and any listing edit requests or reports you submit are stored so we can operate and review your listing. Business users never write directly to public listing data — changes go through our review process first.

Driver & affiliate accounts

Joining our driver/affiliate referral program similarly requires an account (email and password via Supabase). Your affiliate profile can include your display name, email, phone, rideshare platform, vehicle information, display preference (QR sticker or tablet app), an applicant-provided verification note or proof link reviewed by a person before approval, and the date you accepted the program agreement. If you save payout banking details, we intentionally store only the last 4 digits of your routing number, your account holder name, bank name, and account type — never a full account or routing number. There is no live payment processor wired up for driver payouts yet; once one is (for example, Stripe Connect), full banking details would be collected directly by that processor’s own secure flow, not by our servers.

Payments

Business subscription billing is processed by Stripe. We don’t collect or store your full card number — Stripe handles that directly. See our Terms of Service for more on billing and cancellation.

AI-assisted listing drafts

During self-serve business signup, an optional tool can draft a listing’s blurb and special-offers text from the notes you type into the signup form. When you use it, that text is sent to a third-party AI provider (Anthropic) to generate a draft, which you then review and edit before anything is submitted — nothing is auto-published. Skipping the tool and writing your own listing text works exactly the same as always.

Error monitoring

We use Sentry to catch and diagnose technical errors on the Site, in your browser and on our servers, so we can fix problems before they affect more visitors. Session replay is off. Error reports are designed to avoid capturing raw personal information (for example, IP addresses are hashed elsewhere in our systems before they’d ever reach a log).

How we use this information

In short: to credit the people who refer you, respond to messages and requests you send us, operate business and driver/affiliate accounts, process payments and (eventually) payouts, keep the Site secure and working reliably, and — only with your separate consent — send marketing communications. We don’t use your information to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Who we share information with

We share information with the service providers that help us run the Site: Supabase (hosting, database, and account authentication), Stripe (payment processing), Resend (transactional email delivery), Anthropic (optional AI-assisted listing drafting), and Sentry (error monitoring) — each only for the purpose of providing their service to us. When you proceed to a venue, Viator booking widget, or other booking partner, their own privacy policy governs from that point on; we don’t control what they do with your information. If you’re a rideshare driver, your relationship with your rideshare platform (Uber, Lyft, etc.) is separate from ours and we don’t share your driver-program information with that platform. We don’t sell your personal information.

Data retention

We keep information for as long as it’s needed for the purposes described in this policy — for example, referral cookies expire on their own after 30 days, while account data, listing records, and messages are generally kept for as long as an account or listing is active, or as needed to operate the referral and business programs, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. We delete or de-identify information when it’s no longer needed for those purposes.

Your choices

You can browse the Site and use Favorites without ever giving us personal information. You can clear your cookies at any time to remove referral attribution, decline every opt-in checkbox on a claim or lead form, and unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link in that email. If you’d like to access, correct, or request deletion of personal information associated with you — including closing a business or driver account — contact us through our Contact page, and we’ll respond consistent with any rights applicable law gives you.

Children’s privacy

The Site is not directed to children, and consistent with our Terms of Service age requirements, we don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect information — for example, hashed (not raw) IP addresses for click tracking, spam-trap fields and rate limiting on public forms, database access controls that restrict who can read sensitive tables, and consent gating before any follow-up message is sent. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Where information is processed

We’re based in Nevada, and information we collect is processed and stored in the United States by us and the service providers listed above.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We’ll post the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date; material changes may also be announced on the Site. Continuing to use the Site after an update takes effect means you accept the revised policy.
